It ends with the character's ultimate death, and then takes us back in time to before the events, leading us on a journey of how it all began and why. We are introduced to the protagonist, Emily Jacobs, as she prepares for another day of classes at Ravenscourt High, accompanied by her best friend Jessica. The girls befriend Liam, the new kid in town, and a connection is instantly formed. The first act concludes with Emily receiving the first text message on her phone, which she dismisses as a prank, but her friends remain unconvinced.
ACT 2
Emily's text messages become increasingly vicious, prompting her to seek help from her friends. They soon find themselves receiving the same threatening messages, each targeting a hidden secret from their pasts that they have kept from everyone else.
ACT 3
The final act showcases the friends' growing bond and reveals the interconnectedness of their secrets. They devise a plan to confront and stop the villain once and for all.
