Jimmy Lee is having a rough day. His days as a would-be playboy have turned into days as a sleazy strip club owner, and that club isn't even worth the scraps of cash it makes on an average night. His employees aren't any better, with the dead-ender Twisty behind the bar and Charlene, a burned-out dancer, waiting tables on the hopeless drunks of the port town. Living in the bustling den of sin that is Panama City, Florida, Jimmy Lee and his club are surrounded by gangsters, drug addicts, and all manner of scoundrels at any given moment.
It's too bad that he's also a scoundrel himself, and with his debt now up to his eyeballs, the local mobster Ribs and his cronies, Calvin, have come to collect. With the newly minted Senator Chase about to push for the legalization of cocaine, they're out to protect their profits by using Jimmy's current flame, the senator's wife, Angela. The mob wants the senator stopped at any cost, but the situation grows even more complicated when Hanna, a young girl, appears at the club looking for work - or her next score.
As Jimmy Lee falls into the world of cartels, senators, and family secrets, it'll take everything he's got to avoid ending up swimming with the sharks when it's all over.
