SYNOPSIS:
No Time for Love" focuses on unemployed Londoner Josh and Israeli kibbutz Dahlia. Their paths cross when Josh enters the kibbutz as part of a working holiday. They quickly connect and fall in love after spending a night in the kibbutz bunker. Dahlia shows him around the country, acting as his guide to the sights. However, their happiness is short-lived. Upon returning from their trip, they find that the kibbutz has been targeted in a militant assault. To Dahlia's despair, Josh and the other volunteers are told they must leave immediately. Defiant, Josh decides to stay in Israel and seeks work in Eilat. Tragically, the coach he travels on is hijacked by militants. He and other passengers are taken hostage to a tunnel in the Gaza Strip. There, Josh faces threats until an explosion allows him to escape. Yet, he finds himself too incapacitated to hide in the ruins of a war-torn city where life is cheap and death is all too common. Initially rescued by IDF medics, they are unable to save this young English volunteer caught in the crossfire of two nations at war. Meanwhile, Dahlia grapples with her own turmoil after her life on the kibbutz, where she and Josh found peace and love, is irrevocably altered.
