SYNOPSIS:
Act 1:
The story begins with the challenging life of Leo, an African American who sacrifices his own Army ambitions to care for his 9-year-old mute brother, Andre, after the tragic death of their parents. Leo works as a crane driver to provide for himself and Andre, with support from their kind-hearted neighbor, Mrs. Dalton, and her daughter, Katy, who watches over Andre when Leo is at work.
Act 2:
Their lives take a drastic turn when Leo is assigned to work the night shift at his job. On that fateful night, Andre is at Katy's apartment when a group of robbers invades their home. In the midst of the robbery, one of the criminals, a disturbed young man named Alex, attempts to harm Katy. Andre courageously intervenes but ends up getting shot, along with Mrs. Dalton and Katy. Only Katy survives and is rushed to the hospital, while Andre and Mrs. Dalton tragically lose their lives.
Leo returns home the next morning, excited to celebrate Andre's birthday, but instead receives the devastating news of the murders. Overwhelmed with anger and regret for leaving Andre that night, Leo vows to hunt down the individuals responsible for their deaths. With the assistance of Detective Rene, Leo discovers Alex's involvement in the crime and takes it upon himself to capture him.
Through a street investigation, Leo uncovers Alex's whereabouts and finds him partying in a nightclub. As Leo confronts Alex, a club bouncer tries to intervene forcefully. Leo's rage erupts, leading to a chaotic brawl as he fights anyone who stands in his way. Despite the chaos, Leo successfully apprehends Alex and hands him over to the police. However, Leo continues to carry the guilt of Andre and Mrs. Dalton's deaths, experiencing post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Seeking redemption, Leo decides to pursue his Army ambitions, hoping for an honorable death.
In the Army, Leo joins a small unit of 11 other Entry Level Separates (ELS) like himself. Under the guidance of tough Drill Sergeant Serge, they undergo months of training and eventually graduate.
Act 3:
After their training and graduation, the unit is assigned an ISR mission in the countryside. Excitement fills the group as they embark on the mission. Little do they know, their destination is a town plagued by a gruesome massacre, inhabited by mutated and deadly individuals known as "Hillbillies." The soldiers find themselves caught in a life-and-death struggle, resulting in the loss of most of their unit members.
