SYNOPSIS:
Zay, who cares for his dying mother, lives a solitary life in a decaying Alaskan town. The sister of his ex-boyfriend, Lochlyn, pays him a visit and urges him to accompany her to check on her brother, Brick, who has experienced some form of mental breakdown and is residing alone in a cabin deep in the woods.
Gathering a small group of friends, Zay joins Lochlyn at Brick's cabin. There, Brick presents them with a meteorite he discovered and claims it to be the Philosopher's Stone. Before long, they are all plunged into a night of cerebral terror, entangled with a murderous minotaur, a shotgun-wielding hunter, and an alternate reality that breaches the barriers.
Meanwhile, back at home, Zay's mother has transformed into a monstrous entity. As the body count diminishes through increasingly peculiar and macabre deaths, and as time, space, past, and present inexplicably converge, Zay is left with no option but to confront his inner demons and an unimaginable truth in order to finally break the cycle.
