ALANAH'S LOVE
PRICE: Negotiable
GENRE: Horror/Thriller
LOGLINE: Alanah, a marriage counselor, is also a serial killer who suffers from childhood trauma. This is the reason she commits gruesome murders of men.
SYNOPSIS:
Act 1 :
Alanah sits in her room, explaining the tormenting thoughts in her mind before she rises and makes her way to where she has David chained against the wall. They engage in a brief conversation before she cuts off his manhood, leaving him to bleed out in the room. The next day, during her workout, she explains her dislike for men and how she believes women contribute to their sense of superiority. Arriving at work, she experiences a flashback of being raped by her father, uncle, and their friends. Returning from the flashback, she meets with Lloyd, a man undergoing a significant divorce who also has a crush on her, mirroring her feelings for him. After the session, she has another flashback of killing her mother on the same night as the rape. Alone in a diner, Alanah enjoys her meal while looking at a collage of pictures depicting the men she has murdered. She elaborates once more on her belief that women's tolerance enables men to mistreat them. Later in the day, while shopping at a supermarket, she encounters Danny, a playboy unaware that he is her next victim.
Act 2 :
Alanah returns home and Tommy informs her about Todd's interest in a date. She acknowledges him and goes to her room to prepare for Danny's impending murder. While Danny and Alanah dine and converse, she steers the conversation towards a sexual tone, allowing her to drug him. Upon Danny's awakening, he finds himself tied to a bed. Alanah forces him to confess his infidelity to his wife over the phone before ending his life. Back home, Alanah reads her book "Alanah's Love," recounting the men she has killed alongside graphic images. She pauses on a picture of Lloyd, taken without his knowledge, prompting her to daydream about whether Lloyd can provide the love she seeks. The following day in her office, after a flashback of abducting her uncle, she arranges a lunch date with Lloyd. As Lloyd slowly breaks down her defenses, getting to know her softer side, she abruptly leaves. That night in the park, she reflects on the first man she confided in about her trauma, who attempted to exploit her, leading her to kill him. After the flashback, she remembers his lifeless head at the bottom of the water. She encounters another man attempting to assault her and kills him, leaving his body on a bench. Alanah pampers herself before her date with Todd, explaining that she can evade capture due to her uncle Tommy's professional hitman background. Returning home, Tommy informs her that the room preparations she requested are complete. In the bathroom, she sips her drink and turns her attention to the dazed and bruised Todd, chained in the bathtub. She speaks seductively to him before laughing and walking out. A few hours later, Alanah speaks on the phone with Lloyd, planning another date. She then talks to Todd, growing offended by his lack of response, only to realize she's addressing his decapitated head on the pillow beside her, holding up his tongue for later use. The date between Lloyd and Alanah proceeds smoothly until Lloyd asks about her sexual life, causing Alanah to freeze. Before leaving, she tells Lloyd she loves his character but believes he deserves better. That night, in her bathroom, she debates with her inner thoughts about killing Lloyd or leaving him alone altogether.
Act 3 :
After a series of unsuccessful dates, Lloyd and Alanah settle on a dinner date at her house. Alanah questions whether he can accept a woman's past without judgment; Lloyd assures her he can. She leads him to her basement, revealing a secret room where Frank and John's mutilated bodies are chained to the wall, along with other men who underwent taxidermy. Disapproving of Lloyd's changed attitude, Alanah knocks him out with a bloody wooden paddle. When he regains consciousness, he sits between Frank and John, holding a gun with the barrels in their mouths. Wearing bondage attire and wielding a cattle rod, Alanah tells Lloyd that if he loves her, he must kill them. Lloyd refuses to comply. The next morning, Alanah has breakfast while speaking with Lloyd. As she approaches him, it becomes apparent that he has been scalped, and his heart has been removed. His voice plays on a tape recorder held by Tommy. Tommy assures Alanah he will always be there for her if she never finds love. Alanah walks out of the house, stands on the porch, and speaks a few words before getting into her Jaguar and driving away.
